    By definition yuri is deep relationship(love) between two girls, and is usually the focus of the plot. Cross Ange was never trying for that, and people watch it for the mecha and heavy fan service. I’m sure sunrise is very sorry for making an anime with a heterosexual relationship and not living up to your yuri standards.
