      well no, there is a reason as to why there are different terms
      originally everything was divided more clearly into non-explicit and explicit, meaning either you only have hints and/or kisses, maybe hugs and cuddling but no sex scenes and then it is just shoujo-ai or shounen-ai
      the stories what included sex scenes were called yuri and yaoi
      in the recent years though somehow the more generic terms GL and BL etablished themselves and people started to stop differentiation between the original terms, only called the stuff GL and BL now and for some reason only the explecit terms yuri and yaoi survived and nearly noone uses shoujo-ai or shounen-ai anymore
