    Ddl both and test them out! Usually x265 should better in quality and size compression but that’s also for you to truly find out.

    What Shuk said is true. But the new encoding x265 HEVC requires more computing power to be able to play smoothly especially on full hd videos with large total bitrates. If you’re planning to watch on low spec laptop/gadgets, I suggest you go with the old/usual x264.
