    The plot/substance for the series completely disappeared at the start of Tokyo Ghoul-season 2.

    you won’t understand unless you read the manga. because of the low budget of the anime is, eventho they just added important scenes from the manga to the anime, they still miss some of the key factors that it is in the manga
